Collating sequence not supported with the specified file format

    Hi all,

When I try to create a MDE file in Access 2010, I get this error:

"Selected collating sequence not supported with the specified file format"

    Any ideas?

    Thank you very much!

Hi, I encountered this issue with a legacy database when moving to access 2010. A solution is to use collating sequence: "General - Legacy" in the general options. The longer term solution is to migrate to 2010.
