New to the accessforums.net page. Going here to see if someone can help me with this issue that I'm having with a query that I built in Access 2002.
I built a query that merges data from two different sources - one source is a text file, another is a SQL database.
The text file has alpha data within fields that supposed to be numeric; I have to create a make table query to eliminate that data.
Anyway, the query that I run requires a user name and password. I'll log that information. From there what I discover is the SQL criteria that I've created is deleted, for seemingly no real reason. Fortunately I have backups but in the event I am unavailable I don't want to subject my colleagues to a potential nightmare.
Any suggestions as to what can be done to correct this issue?
