    Locking entries

I have a form, and I do not want users to be able to modify the data. I know that you can set the fields to Locked = Yes, but is there a way to gray over the fields, so that it is clear that you are not allowed to modify. I know that I can always change the color of the field from white to gray, but what about a way to gray over the field?

You can disable the textbox, which will both gray it out and prevent changes.

When I disable the text box (if I am doing it correct) it removes the box from my form?

Every control has both a Locked and an Enabled property. Set the Enabled property to NO but leave the Locked property set to NO as well to get the dimming effect.

That worked! I was having the locked property set to Yes, so it was not graying out. My next question is, can I control, how dark or light it will dim?
