Change date from another control

I would like to erase the value in one control ( a date ) based upon entering a date in another control. Something like:

If Firstdate is not null then Second Date is null.

Any help would be appreciated. I see this code in the after update property of Firstdate.

  Me.SecondDate = Null
End If
