I have an access database (2002) using unbound forms and lots of sql. Is better to migrate to 2007 or 2010? Would it convert easily and would either version work on XP Pro? Thank you.

Both versions should work with WinXP Pro/HE and it is your choice which version to go to. 2010 will be around longer as you would expect. I've only found one situation where unbound forms made sense, but that's just me. Access does a lot of work for you when using bound forms.
In Access 2007 & 2010 you can filter your tables, queries, forms etc
which is good in larger projects.
Macros in 2007 you can forget. Period.
Macros in 2010 is a new generation,
which also enables databases to go onto the web with sharepoint.
Start as you mean to continue with 2010,
or take the long way home.
Save the games and have the fun.
