    Add A Spinner To Form

I'm sure it can be done, I just can't figure it out. I am importing an excel file into my access database, and it takes around 10 seconds from start to finish.

While the process is running, I want to open a secondary form (easy), and display a spinner (like a css web spinner).

    How would I do this?

Exactly how do you open another form while a process is running?

Could the Hourglass method serve your purpose? https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/of...oCmd.Hourglass

If you know it takes about 10 seconds each time, you could possibly use a progress bar on a timer event
However, I'm unclear how you can have two events occur simultaneously
Perhaps just show a message whilst the import is running

    Thanks for the input.

I ended up going with a modal form that just said We are working on it - this form will close when the process is complete.
