I can only suggest uninstall and reinstall if you have the program to do that, or download an install.
I would also do a virus check etc, just to be on the safe side.

Perhaps you've somehow moved the database window off screen. Have a look in Access Options to see if any settings can be changed

Did you get a new graphics card before you noticed this? I think you mentioned you did an Office repair (not sure) so I was thinking either a Windows repair or it's a graphics card issue. It's possible that older Access versions don't play well with gamer cards.

Agreed. Windows repair before that. Answering the graphics card question somewhere before that.
In my research, others with older versions of Windows and Access had installed new cards. The card graphics accelerator caused this issue. The older versions of Windows seemed to have options for choosing which graphics mode an application would use. I don't see that option in W10.

Where would I look for for this? If the DB window is off screen, how would I find it?

Sorry but I can't help as I haven't used A2003 much for many years and only have a copy on a VM.
I know how to locate objects in current versions but that won't help you.
If you can't resolve this annoyance, you might want to consider obtaining a newer version of Access

BTW, it's also nice if you post in one or the other that you managed to solve this. Both is even better, even if it's not explained in one of them. If in the future someone else having the same issue stumbles on either thread they should be able to follow the trail.

I was trying to find code or methods to re-locate the db window but it's hard to find solutions for 20 year old versions of Access. I'm watching the other thread to see if the keyboard shortcuts do anything for you. One fix might be to upgrade seeing as how that db window was removed many years ago. It also might be interesting to have someone open your db in a newer version.

I will post a fix when this is fixed. I have a DB on a shared folder with another computer. The DB from that folder does not open correctly from my computer. When I try to open the file from the other computer, from the shared drive, it opens correctly.
