    creating a payment link

    Hi Everyone

    I am trying to create a hyperlink to make a payment to a bank (Barclay's Bank UK- )

    (I can create a hyperlink and put it into an email - thats ok )
    but its the contents of the link I have been having issues with

    so you need to have a SHA 256 encryption
    and you need the following
    AMOUNT
    CURRENCY
    LANGAUGE
    MERCHANTID
    ORERID
    SHAWORD - (Buttercup123) =

    Buttercup123= 869f1f9144197f361d4bfdbbeca3d841c383a48ab2ee266219 a588d1abc5c6a5

    has anyone done this ? if so I would be most helpful for any points

    VBA I can get Amount out of the access D/b = so Amount GBP125.00 = 12500
    Currency = GBP
    Lanague is fix as is merchange ID
    ORDERID = would be my reference so say invoice number 50001

    any pointers would be helpful

    In my opinion, Access is not secure enough for this purpose.
    Your bank should have an online app. Use that instead as it will be secure

    THanks - but I have seen it done in paypal
    I will continue on this one - - as in my senerio it is purely getting a credit card payment done - you cannot change any of the "string data" to extract monies etc.. but it might actually end up being done via an App (which I think the bank should offer as standard - but they don't ) if i explain a little bit in more detail it might assist others (even if its a dead end)

    I have two parts to this - one i have "invocies" that need paying via a payment link - so i wanted to have the option to gather the information into a string ( edit into a hyperlink and send to one client and then they can click and do a c/card payment so

    Donkey Dave owes us say 100.00 - i send the link connect to c/card and debit - it will send confirmation back to us (I have this bit sorted ) with a payment reference & * the invoice number *) job done -

    the second part would of been a little bit more creative - i have a product that is being offered and it is a take it or leave option and this would of had a proforma invoice and aimed at a selected group of people (not a blind mailshot - but actually a group of people who have to have this product - if they have their own then they can ignore it- if not then onward to the c/card option and then I would get a payment reference i can then tie up and "invoice properly "

    I do take on board your comments (and they are most welcome) - but I will follow this trail for a little bit longer -if a solution presents itself I will of course share (If I can) and if it die the death - then i will of course share - even failures are worth sharing .

    Kind regards and hopefully everyone is having a great Monday ..

    I'm not suggesting it can't be done but my recommendation is that you don't
