    Corrupted record in table

I have a back end table that had a corrupted record (Chinese characters). I was unable to isolate this record and use queries to add all the "good" records to a new table so I deleted the table and tried to import is from a db I had restored from a backup but I get an error message for which there is no error number (Reserved error). Does anyone know how I can import that table?

Can you directly view the table in that restored db? Can you export it to text file? Can Excel pull data from that table? Want to attach file here for analysis?
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

IIRC, "Chinese" characters in a query can happen if you try to sort on a memo (long text field) in a query. I thought I'd mention that in case the table was updated by a query that used a sort on such a field. Not sure how you'd fix that if that is what happened (short of reverting to a backup copy) but I thought it might be worth mentioning.
