Access Database showing 0KB and sync symbol

    Hi

Since upgrading our office systems to MS365 some database files are showing 0 Kilobytes and have a synchronised symbol. ie Green circle with arrows. The databases will not open on those machines.

Ive checked Onedrive to see if it is backing them up but cant see them listed

Those computers that haven't been updated to MS365 show the files at the correct size and have no sync symbol

    Thanks

Can you upload a screenshot of the Navigation window to show the Symbol?
You can PM me if you need further help.

You can try going to the OneDrive Control panel and suspending it. It gives you choices such as 2, 4, 8 hours etc... and then see if it works.

At work we have a logging app that runs in Excel and for some reason the code will not execute while OneDrive is active. It only occurs when running an end of the month Macro. The solution has been to suspend OneDrive, run the macro, and then turn OneDrive back on. The App is not mine and the code is locked so I cannot comment on why it happens only on the workaround.

The main point here is do not attempt to use Access databases on OneDrive or similar cloud-based virtual drives. There are many hits on Google related to this, here are a couple:
