We have a linked table to the Outlook Global Address List in an Access Database. This is Office 365. We use this to pull in an employee roster with email addresses that we use for other purposes (Training Lists, Birthday and Anniversary Lists, etc.). The query is a build table with a few parameters on the Company and Account fields. This query runs once a week on Mondays and until this week we had no issues. Now we have found when the query runs, either in Select view or Make Table it appears like the linked table keeps refreshing approximately every 10 seconds. This results in the query never finishing. It just refreshes itself and starts over again with the first record. You can watch this in real time on the select query. The Make Table just keeps adding the same 20-30 records over and over and it never finishes until you kill it. We have no idea what might have changed and why it suddenly stopped working.
What we have tried so far:
-Relinking the linked table
-Refreshing the linked table
-Removing and readding the linked table
-Converting to a local table (same issue -never finishes)
-Repairing Office 365
-Changing Outlook to Cached Mode
-Using the Offline Global Address List
There are three different users who remote to this server, so it is not specific to one user.
Any help would be appreciated.
