You probably have Tabbed forms and not overlapping?
Else you have a control that is making the form that size.

With regards your second question - increase the height of the control

OP has another thread about db design fundamentals for this? Perhaps that should be addressed before worrying about forms that might be based on non-normalized tables.

    Ok Guys.
Let me explain what I am trying to do some years ago I used access to keep a record of my collection of audiobooks, but I have changed computers a few times since then and I have lost the DB and it was one I altered to save the data I wanted and I don’t remember what it was called.
Since then, I have used Excell and I have almost 500 records stored in a excel table and as excel is not as good in displaying selected book as access I decided to import the excel table into access as I do not like the idea of typing all 500 records again.
It all went ok the excel table is in access but I am trying to create a form so I can add more data later.
But whatever way I create the form it fills the whole working area of the access window, and it only needs to be big enough to display the form about 50% of the window.
If I start with a new blank DB and add a few records when I create a new form, it is in a full window again.
The reason I asked in the other thread is I was hoping there might be a DB that would be ok for me as I think this after 4 days of trying is something I am not able to do

    I am using Office 365

I do not know what a non-normalized table is.

Well then, I have already given you the answer.
Go into the Options and change how the forms are displayed.

Thank you so much for the advice. And that might be easy for someone who knows what they are doing but I’ve not got a clue where to do this

In 2007, it is Access Options/Current Database/Document Window Options.

I can't help but think this is the least of your problems. If your table is laid out as a spreadsheet you are going to continue to have problems. I suggest you at least read up on db normalization. See post 7 here
