You really do not want to do ANY work for yourself, do you?thanks mike
1. Actually, what I mean is from today to those last seven days in which orders have been noted, it is not necessary that the work of noting orders is closed only on holidays, it can also happen that the employee doing noting the orders is going on holiday or some day the orders may not have been received.
Therefore, I want to show the data of the last 7 days in which bookings have been registered.
2. You have set the 7 days sub form to auto update. Please tell how you did this.
3. Please also tell by which setting you have set the current date in red color in 7 days sub form.
4. Calculation of total offer in 7 days sub form is not correct please check.
Thank you.

Hi
A1. I don't think you need to worry about holidays because you are only totalling items that have been entered.
2. You have set the 7 days sub form to auto update. Please tell how you did this.
A2. I already told you in my previous answer. After update of Meter Control.
3. Please also tell by which setting you have set the current date in red color in 7 days sub form.
A3. I didn't set the Red colour. Minty did this and it is carried out by using Conditional Formatting.
4. Calculation of total offer in 7 days sub form is not correct please check.
A4. Tell us what you expect to see as the result.
You can PM me if you need further help.

Hello Mike, I have now understood points two and three very well. Thank you.Hi
Actually number of offers is showing wrong in recent orders form it should be shown as per attached pic
By that I mean you cannot even be bothered to see how Mike did what he did?
As I mentioned before, you will learn nothing expecting everything to be handed to you on a plate.
Eventually people will just get tired of feeding you code, and you will be left high and dry. You will be back where you started. Up to you.
make some effort and people are more inclined to help you. That is my way of looking at it.
I could recommend one forum where they will put up with stuff like that time and time again, but I do not feel it is even fair on that forum.
The proverb 'Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for life' rings quite true for computer code as well.

Let me tell you that I am new in Access and coding, I come to this forum only after doing all the hard work.
I also looked at Mike's code thoroughly, when I did not understand anything then I asked Mike for an answer and I also agree with you.
Thank you.
Hi
The following now should do what you want.

Thanks Mike it's working perfectly now.
In this you did not make the meter column, then I made it.
Now I am trying to show the data of these sub forms in seven rows only and show their total.
If not successful, I will contact you again. Thank you.
Hello Mike, I have added 1 meter more column in this sub form (frmgreyofferdates) due to which again it is giving wrong total offer number.
The after update event that you placed in the text box of meter is not working properly. When the form is closed again and turned on, the data of frmgreyofferdates gets properly updated. Why is this happening?
Thank you.
Hi
As far as I know with my limited skills your subform to display the 7 Dates and the
associated Totals in the format you need is NOT possible.
In the updated Totals form You are able to see the Dates for the Week and in the related
Subform you can only see the Total Meter's for a selected Date.
This is down to the wrong table structure for this type of process.
You are creating Multiple New Records for the same Date.
A Customer will Order Items on a Given date and for that specific date you can have Multiple Order Items.
You can PM me if you need further help.

I am also trying from 2 days. for create a continuous query or sub form by removing the validity of 7 days which has 3 fields offer date, total offer and total meter but I am also not getting success, don't know this is impossible. Or we are not able to find its correct logic.
Still I am trying harder, maybe I will succeed.
thank you so much.
I would like to say one more thing that today Welshgasman needs to hit a sixer.

I'm confused.
The original sub form I put in, had both the Offers and the meters displayed and a total - what else do you want, and why did that not suit your needs?

What does that mean?I would like to say one more thing that today Welshgasman needs to hit a sixer.
Just curious.
If this helped, please click the star at the bottom left of this posting and add to my reputation . Many thanks.

I'm a glutton for punishment - here are the two totals.
Your coding needs to be more structured and logical. You method for validating data entry is very clunky, but we can have already covered that, so I'm not going to revisit it.
I have removed a load of redundant code (not all of it by any way!), and indented it properly.
