    Windows 11 - any issues?

My development PC - Windows 10 Office 2016 is dying, so a new one is on order. But of course it will come with WIndows 11.

The production systems all run Windows 10 and the app is updated by copying the latest .accdb file from the development system to the production system.

Is anyone aware of any gotchas with using Windows 11 with Access 2016 in this scenario?

I presume I could downgrade the new PC to WIndows 10 quite cheaply but.....

I managed to upgrade my laptop to Windows 11 and no problem running Access 2010 so don't see why would be an issue with 2016.

Make sure permissions still allow programmatic copy of files, if that is what you are doing now. When my office got new pc's, I lost that capability because IT set more restrictive permissions.

Not really liking the new taskbar and Start layout but guess I will have to adjust.

Windows 10 loses support in 2025.

Is there any problem when running the program made in Win7 MS Office 2016 in Win11?
As you just mentioned, IT has imposed more restrictions in win11.
    Thank you.

If you used MS Office 2016 in Windows7 (which surprises me), should certainly work in Windows11.
