    Designate a Trusted Location

I hope this question is not too terribly stupid, but I can't designate a folder as a trusted location. I read the help, and it says Click File, but I don't see a File icon, not in my application nor in Access itself. How do I find the File icon?

    Thanks

In 2007 it is the Orb at the top left.
Click that, then Access Options then Trust Center then Trust Center Settings then Trusted Locations.
The rest should be self explanatory.

Thank y ou, it worked perfectly. That's what I get for using a 16-year-old app.

Hey, I am still using 2007. Enough for my needs.
On the plus side, you do not get any updates which cause problems.

    Still Having Trouble

Some time ago I posted on this site that after I accepted Microsoft’s suggestion that I increase my OneDrive storage, my computer was screwed up. When I started Access I got a message that my macro could not be executed because it was not in a trusted location. I had been happily using these three databases for 30 years. A post showed my how to find my trusted locations. But life interfered and I am only getting back to this problem now.

I found where MS had moved my databases, as the first screenshot shows, and I added that location to my trusted locations as the second screenshot shows. But still when I open Access I get a message that my macro could not be executed because it wasn’t in a trusted location.
    I would appreciate any help.

Access does not work with onedrive - move your db to a location on your c drive.

You will find that MS likes to favour one drive in windows explorer so scroll up and down to find the file actually on your device
