Is this just the button changing its appearance to/from the hover color/hover forecolor? If so make them the same as the standard color...or disable themes

This is a sample database to demonstrate my issue.
When the mouse is moved from one image to the other, it flickers
perhaps use an image control instead?
Or you can change the backstyle property from normal to transparent - but you will still get flicker when clicking
They'll work. An image control has a click event. The pictures are also buttons to open another form. So i dont think the image control will work
If this helped, please click the star * at the bottom left and add to my reputation- Thanks
Great. Let me give it a try and get back to you guys.
And I will like to know if an existing button like the one I have here can be converted into an image control.
Because I had created a lot of the buttons already before i noticed this issue.
So i don't have to start the whole thing afresh
Here's a quick example. Don't pay any attention to the images. They just happened to be in a handy folder.
The top row is just images in an image control. The click event is a message box but you can put anything.
The lower image uses transparent buttons over a single image. There is a slight flicker only on the keypress but it actually acts as a visual confirmation that it's been clicked.
edit: I'm also loading the images from a folder which helps reduce bloat in your database.
