When switching between design view to form view the detail section does not display

Hi All,



Just joined this forum and I'm new to Access so please forgive my ignorance, I have a problem with Access that causes the detail section to not display when in form/layout view, in design mode all of my controls are visible, these include text boxes, check boxes, fields to enter, fields that get information from another open form, but when I create a report using the form, all of the controls etc are shown and values entered are shown.

The tables are linked using a field CandidateID, some links are many to many, others are 1 to many, using joint tables where required.

I've been trying to resolve this for several days with no luck, if anyone can help it would be very much appreciated.

Hi,

Many thanks for getting back to me, unfortunately the detail section does not appear at all, the link answers are showing it as sometimes appears sometimes not, in this case it never appears, however this morning I have resolved the issue, the form looks to have become corrupt, I have created a new form and then copied all the controls, and now when it is called up it shows all the controls and the derived data in all the text boxes etc.

I'll be marking it down as resolved, just as soon as I workout how to :-)
