This version I removed all of the 0 Values for Defaults for Foreign Keys.
Changed some names of Pk & FK



The Form that opens allows you to select a Party
The subform allows you to navigate to a Previous Quote or Add a New Quote
You can add Multiple Shades for Each Quote.

No you are not understanding the process

Step 1 - You select a Partyname

This is why we would keep the Combobox to select a Partyname
The Party_ID highlighted in Green would not be visible to the User.
The GSTNo and Agentname would display dependent on the Partyname selected


The partyname selected can have 1 or more quotes.

Step 2 - If it is a New Quote for the selected Party then you Click the Add New Quote Button
In The Subform for Quote details
We would need to Add a Field to the table for the QuoteNo (OfferNo)
The Coloured ID numbers displayed would be hidden from the User

well this is a totally different way i understand it well and tell you my opinion.

Actually I wanted that first the new offer number should be entered and then further details should be entered.
And whenever you want to edit any offer, enter that offer number and as soon as you hit enter, the details of that offer will appear and it can be edited/updated.

Yes that is exactly the way it should be.

This Form is for the Data Input Only.

We have not as yet created the Form for Editing a specific quote.

Well actually I was working on that old format of mine and was working hard on it since so many days.
The problem I was facing was that whenever I entered the offer number and hit enter, the data of the form was shown due to the coding, but the data of all the forms was not shown, I did not get any coding properly. I can edit/update the data of both the forms (main form and sub form) by highlighting them simultaneously.
If you look carefully at the subject of my post, I have written "Sub form data not found" in it, but for so long I was following the storage topic that you and June suggested to me.

The program you have created is simple.
But I am afraid that coding in it should not be too difficult, if coding in it is not so difficult, then we can work further on this program.

How can a program be completed without coding, if you look carefully at the access file that I sent for the first time, you will see four-five forms named master in it, by checking their vba coding, you can understand why coding is required. Is

But your 4/5 Forms did not do what you wanted. In other words they did not work.
If you are not willing to accept this and feel that the Forms that I created do not fit your requirements, then
this would be the end of the road with this topic.
