Date picker not showing in date field on form

Hi
I'm using Access 2010 on a 64-bit Win7 Pro box.

I understand that MS removed the activeX calendar control in 2010 and substituted the date picker. The underlying table to the form has the date fields property showing the date picker. And the fields on my form also show the date picker property.
Yet when I enter the date field, no date picker icon appears.

Any suggestions?

Do you have Show Date Picker set to dates in the properties tab?
I have always clicked the Date Picker icon?, I have never seen it activated if I just enter a date in a control?

PS: The date picker icon does show up in the table, but not on the form.

Yes Welshgasman the Show date picker property is set in the table and in the date fields on the form. As I indicated above the icon does appear in the table, but not in the form when entering the field.

Just saw another post. I had the Input mask set on the date fields. When I removed it, the date picker icon appears when entering the field.
