    Date format issue

Different users have different date setting in the computer. Date format is not consistent on a report. One column might show the startdate as "mm/dd/yyyy" and the other column enddate might be in "dd/mm/yyyy" format. Can I fix this issue bu adding the format () function, such as FORMAT(cdate(startdate), "mm/dd/yyyy")? would it be enough to solve this issue?
