Run time error "3188", something to do with the sring length.

    Dear all,

Sorry to bother you again with same issue. But it's really strange and I didnot solve it with my last post.
I am using windows 10 access 2013. I have a issue: "Run time error 3188, Could not update; currently locked by another session on this machine."
when I try to use code (I have trid Recordset.EDit and query, both does not work) to update the record.
The strange thing is 1.my colleages using window 8 don't have this issue; 2.this issue comes up when the length of string is more than 2200. So I am thinking there is something to do with the buffer size of different windows version.
could any one help me with that? thanks in advance.

    Best,
    Jingru

Its very difficult to understand what your issue might be even after reading the other thread.
Suggest you upload an example app to demonstrate the problem
Also add a link to your earlier thread

cross posting without providing link(s) to the other post(s) is what is strongly discouraged. If you've posted this on multiple sites, would be a good idea to take care of the missing links ASAP.
