Closing access and it closes but the access with padlock dont close up?

    Hi all,
Recently, in the past two days when i open an access db and then close it, it is not closing up fully? The Access with the padlock (record locking?) does not close. I have to reboot to get it to close
so i can open up the db again. This has just happend in past two day, never before. Is there a fix for this?
    Thanks

    Dave

are you talking about the lock file: .laccdb (or .ldb)?
cant you just delete it? but yes, once out of the db, it should disappear.
