Connecting Project to Access

I did a search of the forums for microsoft project and found no threads so I made this one.



I am trying to use access to import and export data with a microsoft project file (.mpp). I cannot import it as a table or set up a dynamic link thus far.

Has anyone been able to accomplish this, and if so, how?

I appreciate any help.

I've tried google etc. found nothing.

I did find that I can export the .mpp into an .xls but I was hoping to be able to overwrite the .mpp using an Access function, similar to TransferSpreadsheet.

The goal is:

Multiple data sources (excel) -> Access (post process) -> Project (Gantt Chart)
