    Grouping&Sorting in Reports

    Hello once again everyone;

    So am working on this Report where I've to track court dates... everything is filtered and set-up to my spec nicely except for one lil issue under grouping and sort named function Accessintervalcontrol....
    ="MonthName(Month([CourtDate])) & " " & Day([CourtDate]) & ", " & Year([CourtDate])
    gives a sort Day; Month; Year.. gr8 but what if I want the titled day exg Monday or Tuesday as a group header??? ..and not the report header where state Date() current date and titled day.. trying to report Monday26th October 2020 those persons that have their appointment date. I'm using their courtdate field[format as a longdate] as header but in rpt when add grouping then sort it shows day; month and year more like mediumDate...

    Sort on the date,but show Day of week as a field in the report:
    =format([dteFld],"dddd")
