    Assistance with queries

    I have three tables:
    Client table (client information)

Plan or Terms table (client's yearly plan/cost.) New record for each plan as they renew.

Daily Work log table (date of service and hours to be charged)

I need to create a query that can pull the Date of service and the hours to billed from the Daily Work log then look up a record in the Plan table by the date of the active terms.

    My question is:
Can a query look for a specific record in a table based on a date passed from a different table? I hope I explained this correctly.
    Thank you.

Passed how? Do tables have relationship and can be joined? Perhaps a nested subquery is needed. Proved sample data and sample desired output. If you want to provide db for analysis, follow instructions at bottom of my post.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.
