How to get a Report to hide a record with a blank field?

    Hello,

I've had help from this forum before, so why not try again?

I'm working on a report that ranks prospects, currently this report is just a ranking of players 1 thru 10. I will eventually create a report with a ranking of 25 players. I have my report based on a query and I have the query set to show only 10 records (and I have my rank column set as the main sort). However, for any prospect that doesn't have a rank, aka a blank for the rank, then they are automatically pushed to the top of my report.

    Here is an image:

    Any suggestions?

My initial thought is to have a default value set for the Ranking field for each prospect/player. However, since it is a numerical field, I can't just simply put an "X", and would be forced to use a number. I really don't want to do it that way and I feel like there is a way around this.

Is there any way to set the criteria for the "Rank" field to only be a number?

    Hi,

to my opinion a very easy way to exclude the results without a rank is to put the criterium Not Null in the rank field of your query...

    greetings

    Winner Winner, chicken dinner.

That was an easy one. Is there a list of different criteria you can type in, I also thought the criteria field could only contain text that was in the field.

    Thanks
