    Option buttons

Have option buttons in my form. The default value when an option is selected is -1. how do I change the default value to 1?

I assume that you are talking about the default value? If I do that it gives me a one when the option is not chosen and a zero when it is chosen, I want the oposit result.

I tried, but can not get 1. why do you want 1, not -1?

Because I need a trying to do a math formula based on the results of the option buttons. If it shows a negative then the formula doesn't work right.

Yes, I think that may be my only choice either that or convert the results. Thanks

In design view try clicking directly on the radio button [not the frame] and change the Option value to 1. Also if you set the default value as false neither option is selected and the radio buttons are "white" when opened.

I am thinking you can not get a value 1 no matter it is selected or not. just like you can not get 1 from a yes/no field, only -1 or 0.

Thanks, but you must have a different version, I have 2003, under data it has default and validation Rule, Validation Text, Enable, Locked and Triple state, as options, but it doesn't have option value.
