Look up field in form not populating the table

    Hello Access folk

Can anyone help me with an issue I have of using a combobox on a form - it doesn't populate the data table as it would normally if the field was being manually typed into? I gather from reading around that it's not bad design to use a combobox in a form and it's definitely my preferred method for this particular field.

    Would appreciate any guidance.

    Thanks

    Apologies people

Gave it another search once posted and found what I was after - hadn't bound the field to the data table using control source in Properties Data tab. Please feel free to delete this query.
