Stop auto increment of decimal value to 1

How do I stop MS Access 2013 from auto increment a decimal value to 1.
For example, I enter $0.55 but access automatically changes to $1.00 after entry.

This is a form field with data format type set to currency and decimal places set to 2.
The table value is set to Number with field size set to Long Integer and decimal places set to Auto.

An integer by definition is a whole number, no decimal places. Change your table def from long integer to currency.

Will the "currency" data type give an issue later if backend is MySQL or MSSQL?
