where does code go for on exit event for field

I am new to access 2016. I am trying to add the city and state by just entering the zip code. I have the code to do this I just don't know where to save it.
I have the zip code file.
Thanks in advance for any help.

    Welcome to the forum.
Can you show us the code and/or post a copy of your database?
