Form Formatting Issue

Hello!

I have a field I am having an issue to format properly. I have the format set to short date and yet when I text the form it shows the long date instead and I can't figure out how to fix this, or why it is even showing the wrong date type anyway.




Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your data includes a time component. Whatever the format, when you click into the textbox it will display the actual contents. If the data shouldn't include time, populate it with Date() instead of Now().

It just gives me a bunch of # even though it should be the short date and it is a big enough box for it. I am not pulling the current date either, it is a date from a query.

I meant when the record was saved, it included the time. If you just want to display the date, you can use DateValue() in the query.
