    Query help

    Hello,

I am running an employee training database in Access 2007.

I have a query that lists all of our current employees and another query that pulls what employees have had first aid training. How can I write a query/macro/i don't know what that will take those two queries and give me a list of all employees that HAVEN'T had the first aid training?

    Thanks

Check out the unmatched query wizard.

Or if you want to do it manually,
    1. open the query design and throw in both tables.
    2. join them on the employee IDs
    3. right click on the join and select "join properties"
    4. chose the one that says "select all from (employeetable) and matching from (firstaidtable)"
    5. click ok
    6. select whatever info you want from the employee table and put them into the
    7. select the ID field from the firstaidtable. uncheck the box. under criteria type in "Is Null" without the quotes.
    8. hit run.
