    Post ComboBox Autofill

Hi, I am wondering how to change a regular drop-down menu such that when a user begins typing, the list of choices gets shorter with only entries that start with what they had typed... for example, if "L" was typed, the drop down menu would eliminate all other entries that don't start with "L". Then if "L I" was typed, it would only show entries starting with "L I".

Is this something that can be done in Access?

    Thanks for your reply

Yes, I have this enabled. And I see that it guesses the word that you are typing, however it is my boss who would like to see it go one step further and I'm not sure how to do it. I need to make the list shorter after each letter that is typed in... the reason being that my list is extensive with multiple extremely similar entries. So the goal would be to type in half of it the "word" then drop down the list and see only items that match the word so far, then by the end there would only be one entry in the dropdown menu that would be an exact match of the word entered by the user.
