just not getting joins

Wondering if someone could look at code or something to see what i'm doing wrong. Would need to know how/where to find code...



left table is newcases. 2 right tables (contacts1 and 2) work correctly, i.e., newcases --> clientid_2

trying to add CoverSheetIII table to newcases table. Joined [CoverSheet3id] to [coversheetis]

i see the data from the other tables but don't see data from the CoverSheet tabler.

There are a number of items in your screenshot that appear irrelevant to this thread.

Do you have any records in the tNewCases table with coversheetID values matching those in the Coversheet table?

here is a screen shot of the current main query. this works and tNewCases is connected to 5 tContacts tables where the tNewCases table contains for example plaintiff attorney id which is connected to tContacts. I don't see any fields in common. I have attached a screen shot.
