    SortChange meaning and interpretation?

I've been tasked with taking some MS Access Queries and converting them to SQL queries. In one MS Access Query, the final line in the select statement before "From" is:

    SortChange([Field1],[Field2],[Field3],[Field4]) as CHANGE_DESC

Note that all of the fields in the above are in the Select statement, but my problem is I can't find the meaning of "SortChange" in MS Access. I'm using v2013 but believe this was written in 2011.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This may be a function. Open the VBA editor and search on it.
