Access Multi-Table Search

I dont know how to ask this question properly, sorry about that..

Basically I am trying to figure out how to create a search "dashboard"? I am wanting to easily search through multiple tables to find the entry I am looking for. As I have it now I have to go table by table open the find box and search from whatever I am looking for. I have no idea if I am asking the right question...again Sorry. I hope what I am asking makes sense.

Sorry to sound negative but if you don't have a clue which table will contain a particular record, then it sounds like your database structure isn't perfectly designed!
Its easy enough to create search forms but searching a whole database is both inefficient & time consuming

What do the tables contain? It's possible there should be one table, with a field to designate whatever your tables do. If multiple tables are appropriate, you can create a UNION query that joins them together, and search that.
