    access for arabic

    i want to know that is there any way to change orientation from left to right into right to left of only one access file.........
    i change it from access option menu. but it changes the whole access even my previous access files are also in right to left orientation. so is there any method to change only one access file........................

    2. it change the whole access tables .. even when i open my previous access table that i created when the orientation is left to right....

    3...... but in excel we can change orientation only one sheet .........

    so please tell if and how we change it for only one access files.... not permanent.

    These settings alter Access the app, not the database.
    so opening the db on another pc should show in reverse.

    I don't believe Access has that functionality, The initial order of columns that appears in datasheets is dictated by the underlying sql.

    So instead of using SELECT Fld1, Fld2, Fld3....

    you would use SELECT Fld3, Fld2, Fld1....

    Alternatively you can change to order of fields in the table so SELECT * will work as well.

    In a form of course, you can put controls in any order you like.

    Databases are not concerned with order or presentation. Records are not necessarily stored in the same order they were inserted. So presentation of the data is a matter for the developer.

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
