I have a "Building Number" button on my switchboard which brings up a parameter box to enter the building number. Is there a way to put a drop down (combo) feature so that if the person doesn't know the number they can look at a list?

yes. but it is not clear from you post as to whether you are discussing a control/textbox in a form - - or a parameter prompt that pops up from an underlying query.......the answer will depend on this.
It is a parameter prompt.
there is no way to have a drop down inside a parameter prompt...
you can put a drop down - containing those values - into a form - - and then change that query, remove the parameter prompt and instead call the value in the form's control:
=Forms!FormName.ControlName
I've created the form as instructed and removed the parameter from the query. I'm not sure what you mean by "call the value in the form's control:=Forms!FormName.ControlName"
This is suppose to open up a report showing only those contacts associated with that building.
Do I put something in the criteria on the query or forget the query as a whole?
Can you clarify this for me?
I was able to get this to work. Thanks for the help!
