    Send to back on subform

    Hi gents,

Just a quick on on sub forms. I have a combobox in my main form wich i would like to position "on top" of my subform purely for visual reasons and efficient use of form space.

I thought what i would do is to "send to back" on the subform but it doesnt seem to work, the subform is still showing on top of the combobox and a line i have in the main form.

Any ideas? Any way to make the sub form background color invisible? And if so can i click on objects "behind" the subform?

    Kind regards
    Magnus

subforms cannot be put behind other controls, the subform background cannot be made transparent and you can't click on objects behind the subform. Only thing you can do is have some code in the combo events to hide the subform or reposition it temporarily.

The only thing that can go in front of a subform is another subform. So you could spend time creating your own combo type control using a subform 'dropdown', a textbox and button controls
