    Access 2007 runtime print error

We use an Access 2007 database to keep track of safety incidents and other mistakes company wide.

Each user has their own Runtime front end that they can work within. One of the users cannot print reports on their computer. They get this error:

They are able to print from every other program on their computer.

This user is using a computer that is running Windows 10 whereas most of us are running windows 7 (not sure if that could be part of the problem).

Any help would be much appreciated thanks!

Looks like the last Runtime update was in 2009, so I would assume I have the most recent version.

One the Runtime download page it does say that Windows 10 is not supported, perhaps this is part of the problem.

I would also look at the report design to see if it is set to the default printer or a specific printer. If not the default, that could be the issue.

The Access 2007 and later runtime updates like all the other Office Apps. You use Windows Update or manually download the SP updates and install them.
To see if the Runtime is current I would look in the control panel to see if the Office 2007 SP3 update has been installed.

FWIW: You can install the Access 2010 Runtime. It will run the Access 2007 stuff. That is what I would recommend to my customers

I find it best to install the Access runtime version that matches the version of the other Office Apps installed. I have an Access 2007 ACCDE that is used with the Access full and Runtime 2007/2010/2013/2016 on Windows 7/8.x/10/2008/2012.
