Unable to save changes to forms, reports.

Hello,

I am preparing for 2017 and every year I make a copy of the previous years database and then go in and start making changes to the forms and reports. Simple changes like the titles, headers etc.

I just tried to do this and it won't save my changes. I try to click close and it asks me to save changes and I say yes and it doesn't close. I click the X and it asks if I want to save and I say yes and it doesn't close?

This is happening with the reports as well. I haven't changed any data in this database just working on the column headings?



I tried to compact and repair, still no luck.

Any idea why this is happening.

It sounds like you are working on a read only copy of the db. Is this db "inside" of a zip file?

Actually no it was a new db I just created. One of my colleagues found the solution had to go to database tools, view code, debug and compile. Thanks anyway
