I'm new to Access, using Access 2010. I'm trying to set up my first relationship table, a one-to-many relationship. In the "Relationships" design window, when I highlight the relationship line between the "one" table to the foreign key in the "many" table, I get the "Edit Relationships" dialog box. When I click on the "Ensure Referential Integrity" box and click OK, I get the Error 3211 message - To complete this operation, a table currently in use by another user must be locked. Wait for the other user to finish working with the table, and then try the operation again.
I'm the only user on my database and I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong or how to "lock" a table. Please help.
