When scrolling through my table the column headings repeat - which would be great if it did it just once but it happens every few rows and is annoying. Does anyone know how to turn it off?
Thank you!

The query does it. If you dont want repeating names, put a label in front of the dupliated column: NewName: field1
Would you mind taking a look? Thank you for answering so quickly.
Hi Lori,
When you get the extra column headers, do they go away if you force the table to repaint, for example, by minimizing and restoring the Access window?
Can you make it happen consistently?
How are you scrolling? Using the scroll up/down arrows? The scrollbar thumb? Mousewheel? Page up/down keys?
Shane (Microsoft)
Yes - they do go away when refreshed. It does happen consistently. Scrolling using the scrollbar on the right - holding down the left click on mouse. Interesting - I just tried with mouse wheel and it didn't happen! What in the world?
I just noticed that you are using Access 2007. That version is quite old now, any chance you could try this on a newer version of Access? In the meantime, I'm afraid my best suggestion would be to use the mouse wheel, if that works OK.
I am using Access 2016. Heading at the top of database says Access 2007-2016 file format. Should it say something else?
Ah, no, I just saw that at the top of your message it says "Windows 7 64-bit Access 2007", but that may just be out of date. Can you get the version number from the File/Account page?
When you click with the mouse to scroll, are you clicking on the arrow, or on the main part of the scrollbar? (i.e. are you scrolling one row at a time, or one page)
Sure - It says Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2016. I have an ergonomic mouse - one that has the roller for my thumb and then the scroll wheel between the left and right clicks. So, I click on the scroll bar on right side of screen and use by thumb to scroll up and down. not necessarily a whole page but not just 1 line either. Does that help? Thanks for helping me with this!
I was able to try this out with a Logitech mouse with a thumb trackball, but still can't reproduce the problem you are seeing.
Does this happen on multiple computers, or only one?
Does it happen only with a particular table/query/form?
Hi - I have only noticed on tables. I guess I don't usually scroll like that in a form/query. I only have access to the 1 computer. I have 3 databases - it happens on all 3. I will see if a coworker is having this same issue.
