Okay... Just figured this one out. So this is fixed.
Forum etiquette requires that when a poster solves his/her problem, they post the solution. This may help others, who find this thread, solve a similar problem.

My apologies... I'm all for proper etiquette... LOL.... I discovered that one of the forms was larger than the size of my sub-form in the tab control. So the tab control wouldn't shrink to fit the sub-form because the form that was linked to it was bigger. I shrunk the two original forms to the same "smaller" size and then went back to my tab control deleted the old sub-form and re-linked it. Then the tab control moved over to the sub-form and the gap was closed. I don't know why I had to redo the sub-forms in order for it to take but I did. I hope that explains it in a way that is understandable Linq...
Sure...and as I said, it may help someone else, down the road, who has the same problem!
