Here's the database for reference.
Thanks for all your help by the way, I know I'm not particularly great at explaining what's going on.

Don't tell me - you're going to mark this as solved? Hallelujah!
Come back any time!
Not quite yet, sorry - I still don't know why my subform isn't updating
What does that mean exactly? Please be more specific.
This looks like the old database, the form is no different to the old one.
Those messages are found in the File>Options>Client Settings>Confirm
How is my form different to yours though? I can't see why yours works and mine doesn't.
OK, thanks.
Me either! I put my subform in and it works perfectly, I put yours in and it goes belly-up. Go thru the properties of both forms, there is a difference somewhere
Well at least that narrows it down to a problem with the subform... right?
I'll have a browse
I went thru all the properties of both subforms - made yours the same as mine and it works!
Allow. Data. Entry. Pretty sure that was the problem. Wow, thanks for your help!
I don't know why you only allow them to see one record at a time, that isn't very user friendly! What if they are disturbed during entry and forget what they have entered? There is no way for them to check what has already been entered. If they are only allowed to enter one then the subform should not be a continuous form.
I've just made it bigger - I wasn't sure how big to make it at first.
I know you hate scroll bars, but that is what they are for! Put vertical ones on the subform.
Just done it
Out of curiosity, is it possible to stop a user selecting the same behaviour twice on the same assessment?
And if a box is ticked in Assessment or third party intelligence, it is present, so I'd like that to automatically fill in - that or the second two boxes are not enabled until present is ticked, are either of these doable?
