I have a subform in a parent form. In this parent form, I wish to be able to enter data. However, when I set the 'Allow Additions' property of my subform to 'Yes', it immediately changes back to 'No'. How can I fix this?

is the subform set to a table?
does the subform have the master key in the form?
is the subform set to dynaset?
does the relationship allow data entry? (some dont)
The Access Gnomes consider doing anything to a Subform (Adding/Deleting/Editing Records) to be 'editing' it, and I believe you'll get this behavior if AllowEdits on the Main Form is set to No...the Subform is, after all, a Control on the Main Form. Is that the situation, here?

The problem with making anything foolproof...is that fools are so darn ingenious!
