I have just created a subform to enter follow-up data but it will not allow me to enter data in form view.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you enter and save data if you enter it directly into the query on which the form is based
If this helped, please click the star at the bottom left of this posting and add to my reputation . Many thanks.

Yes I can.
I ran the query, and then entered data and then I checked the form that it was populating.
Things seemed to work fine this way.
I'm confused
Do you gt an error message?
On the Main Form, is the AllowEdits Property set to No...or is the Main Form perhaps Read-Only? The Access Gnomes consider adding Records to a Subform to be 'editing' the Subform Control, and you'll get this type of behavior.

I decided to start from scratch and design the subform based on the table and not a query.
I also had to set the parent and child links parameters.
Seems to now work perfectly.
