Limiting the results displayed in a report

    Hello all!

I have 2 tables, one for clients, and one for transaction. Each transaction belongs to a client

Then I have a report where I list all the clients, and in a sub-report, each individual transaction for that client is listed, as well as the total sum for each client

HOWEVER, if i filter the transactions by month, not all clients will have one associated with them.

But they take up space in my report. Is there a way to list ONLY those clients that have 1 or more transaction associated with them in the subreport.

See the image attached. There are 6 clients listed. Only 3 (Kawasaki, Keldamar, and MAritima Internacional), have transactions. The other 3 (Kyowga, Marinoil, and Jan de Knul) don't. How can I elliminate them from the report so they don't take up space?

If you can help me, thank you!

I imagine it is because you have a subreport which you don't need. Make a query that includes any fields you might want on your report. Base report on the query. In the report, group by Client.
