Importing an updated file from Excel to DB

I have a table in my DB that contains information from an Excel spreadsheet used by one of my coworkers. However, the original file that I used to populate this table has been updated since the DB was constructed. I know how to import and export data with Access. However, my question is about updating this table so that it is current with the excel file. Is there a way I can set up an update query or something so that it does the update on its own? Or if not how do I update the table without having duplicate entries.

    Thanks

If Excel Table will undergo frequent changes in excel itself then it is better to keep the Excel Table Linked to Access. No need to import it into Access and struggle with updating from excel.
