    Missing Options

Maybe I changed an option? When I try to change the "field size" field in table field properties, there are no options, when the data type is set to number. The only choice is the default..

That's because the number type determines the field size, in bytes. Number type single is "longer" than number type "integer" for example. You can set the number of digits you see on a form or report, but you cannot change the MS Access internal storage size.

I may be misunderstanding you. Before today I set up a new field as a number, then I could select from field size, Long Integer, Double, Single, Etc. Now, only the default is available. If I go to options I can change the default and the next number field I set up has that "field size", but no other option..

Thanks Orange, I'll wait for the fix and use the workaround for now. Odd thing is, I've been using 2016 for a month or so and it only started today. Must have been one of those 2AM upgrades...
